Mantaro Valley Publishing takes its name from the Valle del Mantaro, a region in Peru where most of my family resides. It is a place of profound personal significance, as it holds countless cherished memories of my childhood. I spent the majority of my summers growing up in the Mantaro Valley, immersing myself in the richness of Peruvian culture.
From learning the Quechua language to savoring traditional foods, and experiencing the vibrant traditions of the valley, these moments have shaped who I am today.
The Mantaro Valley continues to inspire me, not only as the heart of my publishing company but also through my blog, Peruvian Studios, where I showcase various aspects of Peruvian culture.
As a child, I dreamed of becoming a published author, and now, through Mantaro Valley Publishing, I am bringing that dream to life.
We also honor the timeless wisdom of the Quechua phrase:
"Ama sua, ama llulla, ama quella" (“Do not steal, do not lie, do not be lazy”).
This guiding principle reflects the core values of honesty, integrity, and hard work that underpin everything we do at Mantaro Valley Publishing.
By sharing stories that celebrate these values, we aim to inspire readers of all ages to embrace cultural diversity and the beauty of storytelling.
